Framework assignments connect users to the compliance frameworks they are responsible for. When an Admin assigns a user to a framework, Venvera automatically scans all non-completed items in that framework and generates tasks for the assigned user.
Creating Assignments
Navigate to Tasks in the sidebar.
This button appears in the top-right corner (Admins only). It opens the assignment form.
Click on one or more user names to select them. Selected users are highlighted with a blue border. You can assign multiple users at once.
Click on one or more framework badges (DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.). Each selected framework is highlighted with its framework colour.
Enter a number of days (e.g., 30). All auto-generated tasks will be given a due date that many days from today. Leave blank to create tasks without a due date.
Click the assignment button. Venvera creates the assignments and runs the task generation engine. A success message shows how many assignments were created and how many tasks were generated.
If a user is already assigned to a framework, the assignment is silently skipped (no error). Existing tasks are not duplicated.

| NIS2 | Gap assessments, NIS2-significant incidents, NIS2 policies | Gap Assessment, Incident Response, Policy Review |

Viewing Current Assignments
Below the assignment form, a Current Assignments section lists all active assignments. Each row shows:
- The user's name
- The framework badge
- Open/total task count (e.g., "12/15 open")
- A remove button (×) to delete the assignment
Deleting a framework assignment does not delete the tasks that were already generated. Existing tasks remain in the task list. Only the assignment link is removed.
