Maturity scoring
Each question is scored on a 0–4 maturity scale:

| 0 | Not Implemented | No control or process exists |
| 1 | Initial | Ad-hoc, reactive approach |
| 2 | Developing | Some processes defined but inconsistently applied |
| 3 | Defined | Documented, consistent processes in place |
| 4 | Optimised | Continuously monitored and improved |
Workflow
Create a new assessment
Click New Assessment from the gap assessment list page.
Answer questions by theme
Navigate between the 5 themes using the sidebar tabs. Score each question and add notes to justify your rating.
Review scores
Theme scores and the overall score update automatically. Green (≥70%), amber (40–69%), red (<40%).
Complete the assessment
When finished, mark the assessment as Completed. This locks the scores for reference.
Questions are weighted (1–3) based on importance. Higher-weight questions have more impact on your theme score. Focus on weight-3 questions first for the biggest improvement.
